Student employment (work study) is an excellent opportunity for students to get real workplace experience while also earning money to help with the costs associated with going to college. Unlike other types of financial aid, work study earnings are not applied directly to your tuition and fees. Students who are awarded work study positions receive the funds in a paycheck as they earn them, based on hours worked, just like a normal job. ATCC student employment positions are funded through either the Federal or State Work Study program.
For questions or to determine your eligibility, please contact the Financial Aid office: financialaid@alextech.edu or 320-762-4540.
