Teams first came on Tuesday, January 28 to the NFPA Fluid Power Workshop to learn some basic on pneumatics and how fluid power works. They assembled a rotating platform and a lifter. From the workshop, they went back to their schools and over the following 7 weeks designed and made their machine prototype.

As Women's History Month draws to a close, we want to take this moment to express our gratitude for each and every one of the women who contribute to making our campus the vibrant community it is today. These women were nominated by peers and students alike.

The Q&A highlights º£½ÇÉçÇø's significant impact on the º£½ÇÉçÇø Lakes area, including partnerships with community and industry leaders to provide real-world experiences for students, the college's role in training high school instructors, and its involvement in community events like the annual Diversity Fest. Additionally, it highlights initiatives like the RAISE program and the Next Generation Nursing Assistant program, which offered free courses to eligible residents. Challenges are also addressed, such as the upcoming "enrollment cliff" and public scrutiny of the return on investment of college education. As a result, ATCC is engaging with adult learners, enriching the student experience, and investing in support services for a diverse student body.

Practical nursing students visited the on-campus Head Start classroom, performing basic assessments, including listening to heart and lung sounds and measuring temperature, pulse, respirations, height, and weight.

ADVOCATING FOR STUDENTS: ATCC AT THE MINNESOTA STATE CAPITOL

No grades, tests, or pressure! Spring lecture series includes eight lectures on history, cinema, economics, mathematics, art, science and technology, politics, and more. The season begins on March 19, with lectures held Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15-5:00 PM. Come learn with us.

ATCC students earned 44 finalist honors and brought home eight first place awards, eight second place awards, and three third place awards. Mackenzie Andreasen, Eli Biggers, and Michael Cochran were awarded Outstanding Student Service Awards, and Andreasen was elected State Vice President for Minnesota Collegiate DECA. Karen Meuwissen was awarded Minnesota Collegiate DECA Advisor of the Year.

º£½ÇÉçÇø recently recognized several students who competed at the local SkillsUSA competitions. Students who received top awards are eligible to compete at the state competition in April.

With the expertise and dedication of our IT department, led by voice administrator and IT security specialist Joni Leuthardt, the college successfully transitioned to Cisco Webex Calling in the summer of 2024.
