Lukas Justesen“This tournament was an end to a long fall season,” Justesen said. “I really enjoyed the course and it really fit my style of play. The week before the tournament I switched to a different putter that really helped me out and made a difference this week.”

The Legends finished ninth out of twelve teams overall.

“It was a fun week although we dealt with some injury and a very tough golf course,” Legends Head Coach Scott Dirck said. “I’m looking forward to having Connor Josephson back down there in the spring to play at the National Championship.”

Josephson qualified for the NJCAA DII National Championship at Regionals early in October after a tie-breaker with Justesen in extra holes.

Josephson golfed at 242 at the National Preview Tournament.

“I would like to thank all of our supporters, and a special thanks to Geneva Golf Club for being a great course for the team to practice on and improve their skills,” Dirck said. “I am proud of all of the hard work our team put in this fall and I am excited for the spring season.”
