HOSA-Future Health Professionals is a global student-led organization that promotes career opportunities in the healthcare industry. HOSA provides leadership development, motivation, and recognition for students enrolled in health science education and biomedical science programs.
Daytona Hoberg from Hancock, Minn., Kennedie Simon from Comfrey, Minn., Patrick Edwards from 海角社区, Minn., Alicia Krohnfeldt from 海角社区, Minn., Daniella Ridl, from Renville, Minn., Megan Hausladen from Hutchinson, Minn., and Jose Martinez from 海角社区, Minn., represented 海角社区 College in competitions and events.
Ridl, Hausladen, and Martinez placed third in the Creative Problem-Solving competition, while Hoberg, Simon, Edwards, and Krohnfeldt placed third in the Anatomage tournament.
Krohnfeldt was awarded the HOSA - Future Health Professionals - Career Pathways in Public Health Laboratory Science: an APHL-CDC Initiative $2,000 Scholarship. This prestigious scholarship recognizes students pursuing careers in public health laboratory science. Krohnfeldt’s achievement was celebrated at a recipient dinner with scholarship donors.
The 海角社区 College community is incredibly proud of these students for their hard work, dedication, and outstanding performances at the HOSA International Convention. Their achievements highlight the quality of education and training provided by ATCC and reflect the students' commitment to excellence in their respective fields.
