Admissions Representative Angie Pederson and Global Military Learning Network (GMLN) staff members Kim Johnson and Robin Webster had a significant presence at the 2025 Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) Symposium, held from February 23-27 in National Harbor, MD. This annual event is the largest forum in the country dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities for service members and their families.

Exhibitor Booth: The GMLN booth attracted lots of attention, allowing the team to showcase the new GMLN website and many resources and opportunities for military-connected students.

Presentation: Robin and Kim were presenters at the conference, showcasing GMLN's focus on innovative approaches and educational strategies to expand credit recognition for military learners. Learning supports for students, smoother pathways and course teaching support for faculty were highlighted and discussed.

Networking Opportunities: The team connected with over 70 key leaders and educators from across the country, fostering valuable relationships and collaborations, and were invited to attend future military student focused career fairs with exposure to over 4,000 soldiers and their families.

The GMLN team thanks the 海角社区 College Foundation for the grant that allowed them to attend this event, and looks forward to implementing the connections made to enhance enrollment in our growing GMLN programs.
